Introduction
Tom Browns Brasserie is one of the finest Restaurants in Nottinghamshire, set in a converted Victorian
schoolhouse beside the
leafy banks of the River Trent. It has all the charm and character of the
period combined with a modern continental image.
The restaurants name: 'Tom Browns', comes from a 19th century novel written by Thomas Hughes. The story is set in a Victorian school and is based upon the public schooldays of a boy called Tom Brown.
Building on the restaurant's renowned reputation for quality and
value for money we have gone from strength to strength. We have been
awarded 'runners-up' for the past 4 years as the 'Best Out-of-Town
Restaurant in Nottingham'. In 2006, Tom Browns was voted ITV's
Central News 'Viewers Restaurant of the Year' and was entered into
Egon Ronay's Guide.
